Node Drops Below 200k ZBU Threshold
To ensure the stability and security of the Zeebu network, nodes must maintain a minimum threshold of 200,000 ZBU to be eligible for transaction processing. This eligibility is reassessed at regular intervals called "periods," which occur dynamically based on the network's overall transaction volume.
Key Concepts
Minimum Threshold: Nodes need at least 200,000 ZBU to participate in transaction processing.
Dynamic Periods: Eligibility is checked during "periods" that occur at variable intervals, determined by the network's aggregate transaction processing.
Dropping Below Threshold: If a node's ZBU balance falls below 200,000 when a period occurs, it becomes ineligible to process transactions for that period.
Regaining Eligibility: Once a node's balance exceeds 200,000 ZBU again, it becomes eligible to process transactions starting from the next period.
This system encourages nodes to maintain a consistent stake in the network while allowing for temporary fluctuations. It ensures that only nodes with sufficient stake are actively processing transactions, contributing to the network's overall security and performance.
