Node Not Live Let

When a Deployer node is not yet live, it doesn't process telecom transactions within the Zeebu network. This means the Deployer isn't earning the standard APY from providing the active service of processing transactions. However, Zeebu has implemented a reward structure to incentivize both Deployers and Delegators during this crucial setup phase.

Rewards for Deployers

Even when their node isn't live, Deployers earn rewards based on the ZBU tokens delegated to their node:

  • 4% for ZBU locked for 6 months

  • 5% for ZBU locked for 1 year

  • 6% for ZBU locked for 2 years

This tiered reward system encourages Deployers to actively seek capital for their nodes, as more delegated ZBU directly increases their earnings.

Incentives for Delegators

To encourage participation in the delegation process, Zeebu offers a compelling incentive for Delegators who stake their ZBU tokens to nodes that are not yet active:

  • 25% base APY on actively staked ZBU tokens

This attractive rate provides a clear rationale for Delegators to stake their tokens, even to nodes not yet processing transactions.

Note: This base APY provided for the service of staking ZBU is removed when a node becomes active! It is crucial to understand that, upon reaching the 200,000 ZBU milestone and node activation, Delegators lose the base 25% APY provided for the service of staking ZBU and are instead rewarded with any APY derived from the active service of processing telecom tranactions that is redirected to them by the Deployer to which they delegate.

Result

This dual incentive structure creates a symbiotic relationship between Deployers and Delegators. Deployers are motivated to get their nodes live quickly to start processing transactions and earning higher rewards. Simultaneously, Delegators are incentivized to support new nodes, helping the network grow and become more robust.

By offering rewards during the node setup phase, Zeebu ensures continuous growth and engagement within its ecosystem, even as new Deployers join the network. This approach fosters a collaborative environment where all participants benefit from the network's expansion and success.
