Deployer
Deployers serve as the on-chain clearing house in the Zeebu ecosystem, essential for validating transactions and maintaining the network's integrity. This approach transforms traditional telecom settlements into a decentralized, efficient, and transparent process.
There are two types of deployers within the Zeebu ecosystem.
Private Deployers: These deployers must be approved by Zeebu and have 200,000 ZBU to initiate their node, and be willing to lock up 200,000 ZBU for a duration of 2 years. Circumventing the Pre-Live status entirely.
Public Deployers: Anyone can serve as a public Deployer, and must work towards accruing a total of 200,000 ZBU delegated to their node before achieving live node status. Public deployers must achieve Delegators staking ZBU to their Node.

Reward Structure
Deployers earn 0.6% (30%) of the total transaction volume processed through their nodes. This incentive structure aligns their interests with the growth and stability of the network, motivating them to provide efficient and reliable clearing services. These rewards come from a 1% fee charged to both sides, merchants and clients using Zeebu’s PSP for invoicing, resulting in a total fee of 2% for each settled transaction. This allows Zeebu to pay node rewards in stablecoins instead of ZBU tokens, avoiding token emissions, which is a key differentiator of the Zeebu protocol.
Deployers can only lock-in for a 2 year period for their staked tokens. However, Delegators can lock their ZBU tokens for a variable period, which results in more of less veZBU relative to the lock duration:
6 months: 1 ZBU = 0.125 veZBU
1 year: 1 ZBU = 0.5 veZBU
2 years: 1 ZBU = 1 veZBU
Longer lock-in periods result in more veZBU, determining the total dollar volume a given node can process.
veZBU
The longer Delegators to your node lock their ZBU tokens, the better the conversion rate to veZBU your node receives. More veZBU means higher daily processing capacity, which can lead to greater rewards.
1 veZBU = $1 daily processing capacity
When delegators to a node choose a longer lock-in period, Deployers can significantly increase their ability to process transactions and earn rewards, incentivizing long-term commitment to the Zeebu network.
Example 1: 1-Year Lock
Stake: 200,000 ZBU
Lock-in: 1 year
Stake: 200,000 ZBU × 0.5 = 100,000 veZBU
Daily Processing Capacity: $100,000
Annual Reward: $219,000
Example 2: 2-Year Lock
Stake: 200,000 ZBU
Lock-in: 2 years
Stake: 200,000 ZBU × 1 = 200,000 veZBU
Daily Processing Capacity: $200,000
Annual Reward: $438,000
This dynamic staking system rewards long-term commitment and ensures that Deployers with the most skin in the game have the largest impact on network operations, aligning individual incentives with the overall health and growth of the Zeebu ecosystem.
